Which field is best to be pursued for ME after BE mechanical?
Is ME in aeronauticals agood option after BE in mechanical? What is the scope? What is the salary range? IS ME in automobile a good option after BE in mechanical? Which field is best to be pursued after BE in mechanical? Can we pursue ME in aeronauticals after BE in computer?

Re: Which field is best to be pursued for ME after BE mechanical?
All options are good as far as you shine well in that field.
Being a elecctronics guy i ll recomend on Mechatronics. You have a very good area on Mechatronics where you will learn about application of electronics in the field of Mechanical Engineering. You can also eventually end up in Robotics Engineering, for which knowledge about both Electronics and Mechanical Engineering is a must. |

well the decision is entirely your's regarding what intrests you for future Mtech course, but as far as aeronautical engineering is concerned it is really a very good field to opt for and the salary in this is 20000+ for a fresher and then increases with experience..
so good luck for the course... byee take care.. |

Re: Which field is best to be pursued for ME after BE mechanical?
dear friend
both aeronautics and automobile are intersting career prospects the payscale is a bit higher in case of aeronautics. i would say nowadays the most preferred subject for graduates in ME is robotics as the future is very bright for it your last question is a bit wayward why do aeronautics after BE in computers it would be better to go for networking or development fields after BE in CSE all the best |

hi...
friend....after...BE mech... you can opt for either.... 1....Automobile.... 2....Aeronatical engg... both has its own flavour..... the taste depends upon your interest....i think for ....air warriors will opt for aeronatical...& Auto craziness will lead you to Automobile... Aeronatical...field though....have a high payscale.. but since growing popularity...in motor vehicles....& big..companies..arrival....also make Automobile a very ......enthusiast field to progess... so best of luck.... |

in this case it will be better if you will chose your own interested field,
because both are the good one, so choice is yours which will be chosen, ok all the best |

Re: Which field is best to be pursued for ME after BE mechanical?
In a good economy you have many choices, but when I graduated in 2009 there were very little options or opportunities. The job market isn't looking all that much better in 2011 either. I would just say to take whatever comes around that is above the lowest minimum amount that you would think a mechanical engineer would deserve, and is related to mechanical engineering. Since you have most likely never held a serious position in mechanical engineering, its hard to judge offers that come around as something that you wouldnt like so try it. It is also a good choice to seek out an employer with a professional engineer so that you can get earned time for when you sit for your professional engineering exam. Simply working in the industry or not under the guidance of a PE does not accure time with the board, and you will never be able to sit for the exam. As for educational options past a bachelors in mechanical engineering, I would say to you that you have made up your mind that you will be either teaching at the PHD level or feel that you are very strong in all areas of mechanical engineering and would be the best candidate for a R&D position or highly specialized position (especially mechatronics). Other than those two positions, there really is no need to advance your education past the bachelors in ME other than for achieving a goal for yourself or moving into a completely unrelated career field that requires or recommends a masters degree. I agree with all the other people here though, if you desire advancing with your mechanical engineering degree, take a serious look at mechatronics. It would give you very diverse employment opportunities, top salary, top understanding of fundamental concepts, and make you a well rounded engineer. You dont need a masters to understand drag coefficients and airfoil design-you could probably do that already with a book and some guidance from a PE.

hello friend,
ME stands for master of engineering. it is a two years course. eligibility is graduation in engineering or master degree in any stream from any recognized university. you write GATE entrance exam for Me best streams:- automobile electronics mechanical electricals aeronatical mechatronics industrail electronics production robotics fluid mechanics all the best |
