FTII doesn't provide exact syllabus as such. You can refer the previous year question paper for guidance.
You can get the question paper for FTII entrance exam for cinematography at

FTII has no set syllabus for the Entrance Exam. No matter what the course you opt for, it is basically your aptitude, your interest in the field that is adjudged. As such, it is your instinct (more than specific preparation or anything else) that will be put to test.

there is no particular syllabus for the film and television entrance test. u have to prepare according past paper

Ftii exam is totally based on the general knowledge and the knowledge in the field in which you want to go but after all its interview is hard and there they check your prescence of mind and confindence too. so that is hard to crack because it has only 14 seats and in that 2 is resesrved for the NRI and 2 for female candidate.
