Sir,i have completed 12th and i am planning to do btech for entry into Indian navy...which branch in btech will be helpful

Indian Navy offers a no. of engineering jobs.The educational qualification required for applying for these jobs is four years BE/BTECH Engineering degree with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. Which branch is useful depends for entering indian navy depends upon which job you want to apply for. Hi Friend, It is good take challenges un field of Defence,For getting in Indian Navy, the fields that can be chosen are ENTC, Electronics, mechanical, instrumentation
I will suggest you take the ENTC i.e Electronics and telecommunication, which is useful every force of defence, in airforce and army too. if not that try to get electronics stream or else get mechanical stream, Best of luck for career. |

If you want join in Indian navy, IT branch is best. because all information is based on IT. and navy officers mainly first prefer to IT students. because navy is fully depend on technical. So IT is best branch. all the best. |

you see,to join in Indian Navy the criteria is only graduation in engineering. it does not depends which trade of engg you are belongs to. but marks is a good factor to getting chance in Indian Navy.minimum 60% marks throughout of career is require to get chance in indian Navy. best of luck.......... |

for the navy,the b.tech of the marine branch will be more helpful for you.by the way other branch students such as electrical mechanical,civil,cse is also invited for this .so select any of them.

hii friend To join in indian army you can take any branches in BTECH ....For the technical field mainly there are two branches for which the you can apply for after your Btech ... The first one is Aeronautical Engineering Electronics branch and the other one is the Aeronautical Engineering Mechanical branch. The Electronics branch deals with signal and communication stuff while the Mechanical branch has to take care of the maintenance, servicing and other engine related tasks.
age limit is 18 to 28 years At the time of commencement of training eligibility branches you need to have is Branches in Btech / BE: Electronics,Tele-communication, Electrical, Electrical Communication, Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation, Computer Science & Engineering regards azhar |
