Is it good to go for a core company or a software company?

This is a question which can have different answers .But according to me you should choose core company rather than a software company. But before joining any company you must do full inquiry of the company .Remember your core company can prove dissisive for you.

But please have a look on your interest and if you think that you have enough knowledge to make a career in software company rather than core company then you should join that company.

It will depend on your interest. If you are interested in software development, website designing and computer related jobs then you can join a private software company.
For this you must have good command over programming languages like SQL, .net, Java etc. Also your maths and english should be good.

But if you want to do government job then you should prefer core company.
Core companies are less likely to be affected by recession. While private IT companies suffer from recession. In core companies you will get a chance to do versatile jobs.
In IT companies there is less versatality.

IT companies pay comparatively less than core companies. So it's better to work in core company.

DEAR FRIEND.

this is really a different question but common question for students.

if you study fully core paper through your college carrier then you definitely have more command on your core paper than software paper.so when you will join the core then you need not study for your core subject you only implement your knowledge that you have study..

buy if you will join the software company then initially you should study different paper during the training period.

not only this each and every project that you will get from software company you need study to complete the project.

where as in core company there is nothing like that.


so according to me core company is good option than software.

Well there is nothing like good and bad between the core companies and the software companies .Both types of companies treat their employees very well and give them very good salary .It should depends on your area of interest .If you are for ECE branch then definitely you would not like to go in the software fields but if you have done your engineering in the IT or CSE streams that its sure that the software fields will suit you much .

So no one can compare software companies and the core companies .I would advice you to join the core companies if you are interested there otherwise you can join software development companies .

But since you have asked this question so iam expecting that you are not from the IT or computer science streams which means that if you go into the software development companies specially those working in the C.C++,JAVA and other languages then you might have some problem in advance .

But in software development fields there is also work of software development in the VHDL,Embedded C and MATLAB so you can join in these area .Companies like infosys and TCS provided these jobs area for the ECE students and you might get more package then in core companies .

So it is totally depends on your area of interest .Where is your interest in software development or in the core companies of your streams .

well..its always to get settled in a core company as ur job out there is risk-free and u can earn big if u settle out there..whereas..ur job in a software company is never permanent..even in the times of recession..software engineers are the most effected lot..so choose wisely..

Core pays more... Core is Stable... Core is more stable and pays more as compared to s/w guy having same experience... choose core.... a core engg can opt for s/w.... but a s/w engg can never come to core.... remember it... and s/w engg are in lakhs but core engg are few in india... never hesitate... choose core... and watch the difference with s/w guy..in just 5 yr

i am work in software company tcs but idont have any intrest to work in any more .i completed my btec in civil engg so what can i do?

OMG, Its really tough to answer, I'm selected in the Core start-up company, the scale is just 8500/-. I discussed this from my College staffs, they said The core company is stable and increasing the salary year by year. But the IT companies only start-up increment there is no confirmation *SOME TEXT MISSING*
