Can i do btech from telecommunication after the diploma in cse

Government Jobs are the ones which are provided by the Indian Government and so they are considered to be permanent.

They provide good benefits and allowances but very low salaries in most cases.


Coming to your case, you are a Computer Science Engineer, so you can always look for jobs in the Computer Sector.

However IES is not open for you as it is only for the 4 main streams :-


ELECTRONICS
ELECTRICAL
MECHANICAL
CIVIL


Still you may try for other PSU's like BSNL, DRDO, MTNL, VSNL, Railways, Civil Services, IAS, IPS, CDS, etc..

But let me tell you 1 thing, that getting a job in any of these is not easy.


Keeping in mind the level of competition which is presently prevailing in the market, you have to work really hard for these entrances.


However getting a job in the private sector is relatively easier.

You can always try your career in TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, HCL, Syntel etc which are always your core company.


I would suggest this, as working and gaining experience in a core company would always be adding more value to your career, than working somewhere which is not your core are of subject.
