How to apply for GP rating post in Merchant Navy?


Hello sir i am SELVAN S MARI from kollam(Kerala). Sir i want to apply for gp rating post in merchant navy. Sir i have secured 82.5% in 10th and 65% marks in 12th in pcm and 74% marks in ITI (electrician).sir how to apply for this.

Pass with aggregate 40% marks in 10th Standard from a recognized Board with Science, Mathematics as subjects and with minimum 40% marks in English language. Pass in 2-Year I.T.I. course from Govt. Approved Institute with minimum 50% aggregate marks in final year and minimum 40% marks in English at 10th or Diploma Exam.

You can go for GP rating if you pass the following eligibility criteria.

Eligibility:-
Pass in 10th standard with total average 40% marks.
( with individual pass in Mathematics, Science subjects).

OR

Pass in 2 year ITI course from government approved Institute with minimum 50% aggregate marks in final year or
40% marks in English subject is required either in 10th or 12th standard (or ) any degree/diploma course.

Age Limit:-
Minimum 17 years 6 months - 25 years (Maximum)

No Color Blindness 6/6 vision in each eye. No eye glasses permitted.

In order to apply, candidate must have passed 10th standard with atleast 50% marks from a recognised board with science, maths as subjects with minimum 40% marks in english language.

Pass in 2 year ITI course from Govt approved institute with 50% marks in final year and 40% marks in english at 10th or diploma exam.
The age limit is 17 to 25 yrs.

The candidate should have passed with aggregate 40% marks in 10th Standard from a recognized Board with Science, Mathematic as subjects and with minimum 40% marks in English language either in 10th, 12th or diploma / degree exam. Maximum Age limit: Between 17.5 to 25 years.

How to apply for a GP rating post in Merchant Navy?

1. You must have passed 10th with a minimum of 55% marks from any board with science, mathematics as the main subjects.

2. In training period as an Ordinary Seaman gets 200-300$(Rs 12000-18000), after 9 months of sea service as an Ordinary Seaman candidate gets Watch keeping Certificate then candidate gets promoted as Able bodied seaman(AB) salary 1000-1500$.
