Sir i have finished MBA in Marketing specialization and want to go for IAS & KAS

How to proceed?

Hi,

To go for IAS you have to sit for Civil Services exam conducted each year by UPSC. The detailed information about that will be notified in the month of February in the employment newspaper. The test comprises of two parts: Preilims and Mains.
Prelims: You need to study current affairs and general knowledge.
Mains: You have to select 2 subjects.

• Apply online by using the website http://www.upsconline.nic.in
• Apply offline by purchasing the application form from designated post offices throughout the country.

Date of Notification: 19.02.2011
Last Date for Receipt of Applications: 21.03.2011
Date of Exam: 12.06.2011

I don't know much about KAS but I have good knowledge on IAS so i'll stick with it.



Eligibility criteria for IAS exam

->you should have a degree from a recognized university

-> your age should be min of 21 years and should not exceed 30 years..

this is the basic eligibility criteria

if you have this you can wait for notification and apply for the same

and attempt well in the three level exam

and then you'll get a good rank

accordingly you will be selected into a particular cadre..

in2011 i completed my MCA can i attend the IAS exam. n when is exm.
