How to become a chartered accountant (India)

Institute of chartered accountants of India (ICAI for short) is the central body in India for accounting profession and CA course.

The detailed procedure to become a CA is been provided by the ICAI on the following link:

1 Satisfy the eligibility criteria (i.e. Schooling should be complete)

2 Clear your CPT

3 After 9 months clear your IPCC

4 Complete 3 years of articles and clear your CA Final.

This is how you can become a CA in India, taking around 4.5 years on whole.
