If I am a Chartered Accountant how can I become an Income Tax Officer?


dear sir, my name is JATIN MITTAL. I am Chartered Accountant. I want to become Income tax officer. please tell me there is any benefit of Chartered accountant ?

To become an Income Tax Officer, you will have to crack Combined Graduate Level Exam conducted by Staff Selection Commission. Being a chartered accountant, you will be eligible to apply for the exam as any professional course is treated equivalent to graduation, but there are no examinations conducted specifically for chartered accountants to become an Income Tax Officer.
The minimum eligible age to apply for the exam is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 27 years.

For notification of the upcoming combined graduate level exam and other related information, refer to the official website of Staff Selection Commission.
