I've done Diploma in Mechanical engineering after 10th and further I will pursue the degree in Mechanical engineering. I want to join Merchant Navy as a Deck Cadet and not Marine Engineer. So is it possible for me to become a Deck Cadet?

To join Merchant Navy as a Deck engineer, you can pursue one of the following course from the following listed colleges.

• RL Institute of Nautical Sciences (RLINS), Madurai

B.Sc. Nautical Science

• Academy of Maritime Education and Training (AMET), Chennai
• Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU), Liverpool

HND Nautical Science

• AMET University, Chennai in collaboration with South Tyneside College, UK
• International Maritime Institute, Noida in collaboration with Glasgow College of Nautical Studies, Scotland
