this is kapil ,I m doing B.E in computer science ,I want to become an IAS offi. and i am not clear about the optional subjects ,what r the combination of optional subjects please give me details..

IAS stands Indian Administrative Service , it is a one of the civil services

It is conducted by Union Public Service Commission once in a year and also

you have following eligibility details

You are must be citizen of Indian

You should have Graduation in any stream from a recognized University

Final year appearing candidates also eligible

Your age limit between 21 to 30 years

The upper age relaxation as per govt rules

3 years for OBC candidates

5 years for SC/ST candidates

Selection Process :

Preliminary Examination

Main Examination

Interview

Number of Attempts :

4 times for General

7 times for OBC

No limit for SC/ST

Paper Pattern for IAS exam :-

1) General-Studies paper carries 150 marks

2) Optional paper carries 150 marks.

Instead of one compulsory paper of General Studies and one Optional paper, both the papers shall be compulsory.

yes , you are eligible , there is no problem for IAS examination with B.E computer Engineering
