IPS stands for Indian Police Service, one of top civil service in India. To become an IPS officer, one should have to crack civil services examination being conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year.
The complete selection procedure for this is by -CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test) -Civil Services Main Examination -Interview Here is the required eligibility criteria for the candidate to appear for civil services exam. Academic Qualification : -One should have completed Graduation with any of the stream from a recognized university. -Candidates who are pursuing final year of Graduation can also apply for this exam. Age criteria : -One should be in the age group of 21-30 years to be eligible for this exam. -Relaxation is there in upper age limit upto 3 years for the candidates of OBC category. -Relaxation is there in upper age limit upto 5 years for the candidates of SC/ST category. If you are interested and if you possess the above mentioned eligibility criteria, then you can apply and appear for this exam. For this academic year, the last date to apply for CSAT Exam was over. Dear friend
For being or qualifying for IPS / IAS exam you must have a graduation degree. Then you have to prepare for UPSC -civil services exams. I would suggest you that if you are best in ur graduation subject the take that paper for appearing in civil services otherwise you take any other easy paper other than in which you did graduation. You will have a chance of scoring high. Rather you must have a little bit aptitude skills. Hope you find this information useful. Balram |

UPSC conducts entrance exam for the post of IPS/IAS.UPSC release notification for IPS post.Notification displayed on the website of UPSC.you have to visit website of UPSC for notification- http://www.upsc.gov.in To become a IPS officer you have to write for IPS entrance exam which is conducted by UPSC every year. To apply for this exam you have to complete your graduation.after graduation you can apply for this exam. Eligibility for IPS exam- You have to complete your graduation.you can also apply in last year of graduation. Age limit for this exam is 21-30 year. IPS exam conducted in two stages- Preliminiary exam Main exam First you have to write for Preliminiary exam and then write for Main exam.you can't directly apply for Main exam. |

I.P.S is Indian Police Services. I.P.S exam is conducted under Civil services exam. QUALIFICATION:- Graduation with any stream from recoginised university.. Candidates who have passed the final year of MBBS or any Medical Examination but are yet to complete the internship can also appear for the Main Examination AGE LIMT:- A candidate must have attained 21 years and not be over 30 years on August 1 of the year of examination. NATIONALATY:- Only Indian nationals are eligible for IAS and IPS. There are three stage of selection:- > Prelims Exam > Mains Exam > Interview ALL THE BEST! |

IPS - INDIAN POLICE SERVICE, to become an IPS officer one has to apply and come out successfully in Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC once every year.
The eligible candidate must be an Indian Citizen having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream of education within an age group of 21 to 30 years with good Physical health. Apart from this there is certain prescribed Physical requirement for those applying for IPS. It's a good dream and I am appreciating you, to dream like an Indian Police Service Officer.
To become an IPS Officer you have to write Civil Service Exam which is conducted by UPSC Board Once in every year. Civil Service Exam is contains Three Stages: 1)prelims Exam 2)Mains Exam 3)Interview Eligibility criteria is who is applying for Civil Service Exams like an IAS,IPS he is must and should be an Indian Citizen. The Age limit is between 21-30 Years with good physical health for applying these Exam. |
