how to become a police officers like inspector? please tell me what is the procedure for it

To be with Indian police you have to appear for the Indian Police Service Exam conducted by the UPSC. IPS is for the recruitment of the top ranked police officials to be posted all across India.The minimum eligibility for IPS exam is that the candidate should meet the physical and other requirements as mandated. Minimum age should be 21 years and maximum age should be 30 years. Minimum educational qualification should be a bachelors degree in any discipline or an equivalent qualification from recognized institution. Minimum height is 165 cm for Men and 150 cm for Women (minimum height is relaxed by 5 cms for Men and Women respectively for reserved candidates. Minimum Chest girth fully expanded is 84 cm for Men and 79 cm for Women. Expansion of 5 cm for Men and Women.
You can appear for the written test conducted by the respective state PSC to get jobs with the state police.

Central Police Force Exam is conducted by U.P.S.C once in a yer.

ELIGIBILITY FOR C.P.F.Exam:-
> Pass graduation with any stream.
> Age should be in between 19-25 year.
> Must be citizen of India.

• Director Intelligence Bureau (post held by senior most Indian Police Service officer; not a rank)
• Commissioner of Police (State) or Director General of Police

It is good that you want o Join Police Department. Police Department Job is very Respectful Job. there are many Types of Posts Present in Police Department.

First of All There are three types of Inspector Posts in Police Department:

ASI(Assistant Sub-Inspector)
SI(Sub-Inspector)
Inspector

All three Posts is not Equal. Inspector Post is higher than other Two.
If you want to be Inspector you have to face entrance examination.

Here is Eligibility Criteria:

you must complete your graduations degree in any stream from recognized University.
your age must between 21 - 30 years. Age Relaxation is Applicable as per Govt. Rules for Backward Categories.
5 years for SC/ST Category.
3 years for OBC category.

After Successfully completing Exam, you will call for Interview. For Direct Recruitment for posts of Inspector; Exams Conduct by Every State Govt. There is no Physical Criteria for Joining Direct Post of Inspector.

For it you need to be eligible for it and the eligibility for the exam is :

You have done your graduation from recognized university and age 21-30 yrs..

Then you can give the upsc civil services exam and can become an IPS officer.

for becoming an inspector first you have to complete any degree. then you have to fit for physical fitness. then you have to attend the police(pc) or sub inspector exam not directly a inspector exam. then you also selected in physical fitness exam(running,long jump,high jump,push ups etc.)after selected in exams they made an interview and appointed u. by getting an experience or promotion you will become an inspector
