Sir, I have completed my 11th with Commerce stream and now studying in 12th standard. I want to become a Software Engineer. Kindly help me to know that how I can become a Software Engineer as I am a Commerce student?

For going into the software line and becoming a software engineer being an commerce student in 12th class, i Would suggest you to do ITI course in COPA specialisation.

COPA (Computer programmer cum assistant)
It is best to get knowledge for all type of basic computer applications like tally for accounts, photoshop for designing and programming languages like c,c++ and many more.

Procedure to become a software engineer after 12th commerce student:-

You are not eligible for software engineering after passing 12th with commerce stream.

The student who passed 12th Physics and Maths are eligible for software engineer.

You have other courses like:-
BBA
BCom
BCA
Hotel Management
LLB etc.

Being a Commerce student you are not eligible to become a software engineer.
Because to become a software engineer, a candidate must have completed 10 + 2 with PCM stream from a recognised board.

You are not eligible to get admission in the Software engineering.

The eligibility to get admission in the course is that candidate must have passed 12th in PCM.

So, you are not eligible to get admission in the course after 12th in commerce stream.

To become a software engineer, you are required to complete B.E./B.Tech degree course in Computer Science or Information Technology and for that you are required to have pursued Class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects from a recognized board of education.

So, having completed your Class 12th with Commerce stream, you are not eligible for becoming a software engineer unless you are pursue your Class 12th in Science stream followed B.E./B.Tech degree in relevant discipline.
