I am 14 years old and i am Studing in class 9 and I have got 55% in class 8 and I am extremely interested to join Indian Navy. so what should I do to join Indian Navy.(Because its my dream yo join INDIAN NAVY). It's not possible now for you to join Indian Navy. First complete your class 10th and 12th from any recognized institution or board with at least 70%.

Generally the National Defence Academy (NDA) is conducted in the month of February for the candidate who are appearing in the qualifying examination i.e., Class 12th.

There is no particular qualification marks for NDA exam. The cutoff marks will vary each year. The exam consists of 2 parts and each part has it's own cutoff marks.

# It is not possible to join Indian Navy merely possession of educational qualification of standard 9th.

# There is no any provision of joining Indian Navy at the age of 14 years and educational qualification of under-matric.

# You are presently advised now only to focus on your studies rather than thinking of joining Indian Navy.

# You can join Indian Navy by qualifying the National Defence Academy (NDA) Examination only after completion of 10+2.

# First of all, you should start making yourself well prepare for NDA Examination right now by consolidating the elementary knowledge or basic concepts in all subjects.

# Another option to join Indian Navy after 10+2 is Technical Entry Scheme. Here the candidate is required to be 10+2 in subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English with minimum 70% marks.

If you wish to join Indian Navy ,you have to appear for NDA exam and for that you have to first complete your 12th class.

The eligibility criteria to join Indian Navy through NDA exam are following:-

-The candidate must be a citizen of India.

-The age limit for the candidate is 16.5 years to 19 years.

-Only unmarried male candidate can apply for the exam.

-The qualification required is 10+2 with Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics for Indian Naval Academy.

-The selection process involves written examination followed by personal interview by Service Selection Board.

-The candidate should be physically fit as per the Physical Standards required to join NDA.

No, you are not eligible to join the Indian Navy after the 9th Std. To join the Indian Navy the candidates have to qualify in the NDA examination.

The examination is conducted by the UPSC and the required qualification to appear for the examination is candidates must have passed or pursuing the 10+2 examination with the PCM as main subject in the examination.

I am impressed with your interest in the Navy as you want to join as fast as possible. But sorry to say you that you are not eligible for the recruitment in the Indian Navy as per qualification.

The eligibility criteria to join the Indian Navy is candidates need to qualify in the NDA entrance examination conducted by the UPSC twice every year. The required qualification to appear for the examination is :-
* Candidates must have passed the 10+2 from a recognised university.
* Candidates age must be between the 16.5-19.5 years.
* Candidates must have PCM as main paper for the Air Force and Navy.

So you have to complete your 10+2 to appear for the examination. The examination is conducted in the two stages and candidates after qualifying in each are eligible for the nest stage. There is different cut off for every year examination. For more information visit at the www.upsc.gov.in.

At present you are not eligible for any Indian Navy job. After completion of your 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Maths you can apply for NDA and NA exam which is conducted by UPSC every year.

You cannot apply for Indian Navy.The minimum requirements for joining Indian Navy is +2 with minimum 50% marks.After completing +2 you are eligible to NDA exam which is stands for National Defence Academy.
Age limit should be 16.5 to 19 years.

With 9th class, you can't join Navy. Because 12th class is required minimum for students to join. Eligibility is as given below.

-Completion of 12th class with Mathematics and Physics subjects
-Final year pursuing students of 12th class can also apply.
-Age will be 16.years to 19 years
-Only unmarried male students are eligible to join Navy.
-Female students are not eligible.

Entrance exam is there to join Navy which is NDA Exam. This exam is organized by UPSC.

So, first complete 12th class with Maths and Physics subjects. Then apply for NDA Exam.Then you are allowed to join Army.

No, you can't eligible to join navy upon the basis only ninth standard. You should be minimum intermediate with sciences subjects.
