Good Afternoon Si, I'm Neelam. I'm in 12th standard in Science group. I want to join Indian Commando team. But I don't know what is process. Please guide me how can I join Commando team after 12th and what are requirements necessary. I'm waiting for your answer.

Women are eligible for all post in Indian army.
To became a commando in Indian army you have force as a officer.

To became a officer in armed forces first of all you have to complete your graduation with any course.

It would be better for you if you have completed your graduation with engineering, it create more opportunity for you.

Once you complete your graduation , you can Apply for Combined defense examination which is common for all graduate.

If you are from technical background you have some technical entry scheme.

If you are from medical background you can join IMS .

If you are from accounts than you also have some opportunities .

Once you join force as a officer than their performance throughout the career will decide whether you eligible or not for commando.

Out of 1000 officer they choose only 1 for commando training.
