Sir, I am studying in 12th standard and I want to know about Military options for girls after 12th Science. I want to join Military. Can you give the details about Military options for female candidates like eligibility criteria, application procedure and other relevant details.

No, being a female candidate, you are not eligible to join Indian Military after completion of your 12th standard with Science stream. Only unmarried male candidates who have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination from a recognised board are eligible to apply for UPSC NDA examination as per UPSX guidelines. So, being a female candidate, you are not eligible to apply for NDA examination for joining in Indian Military.

Being a Class 12th passed female candidate, you are not eligible for joining Indian Military Services at this stage as after Class 12th only unmarried Indian male candidates can join Indian defense services.

But, once you opt for a graduation degree in any stream of your choice and complete it, then you can apply for joining Indian Military Academy through Combined Defense Services by qualifying CDS entrance examination held by UPSC twice every year.

There is no entry through which a female candidate can join Indian Military after completion of her Class 12th as the minimum education required by female candidates to join Indian defense services is a graduation degree course from a recognized university.

So, joining Indian Military services, you are required to first opt for a graduation degree from a recognized university and then need to qualify CDS entrance examination.
