How can I apply for IAS exam after passing B.Com with 65% in B.Com


dear sir, i have pass b.com. in this year. i have got 65% in b.com. how can i apply for Ias exam?

Hai,


A B.Com graduate candidate eligible for IAS(Indian Administrative Service) exam,this exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) one time in a year. There is no need of specific percentage restrictions for IAS exam. The eligibility and age criteria details are given below.

Eligibility criteria:-

The minimum educational is graduation or any bachelor's degree from a recognised university.

Percentage is not important to apply this exam.

Candidate must be an indian origin.

The graduation must be complete from a recognised university.


Age criteria details:-


The minimum age limit is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years.

There is a relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.


Selection process:-

Preliminary examination,

Mains examination,

Personal interview.


List of optional subjects:-

Agriculture,

Animal husbandary and Veterinary science,

Generally after graduation candidates can apply for IAS exam
Eligibility :
1. Civil service exam conducted by UPSC board
2. The age limit for civil service exam is 21-30 years, relaxation for 3years for obc, relaxation for 5years is given for sc/st's
3. The no.of chances for filling the form is general category-4, obc-7 and no limit for sc/st
4. Candidates must complete graduation from recognized board in India.

There is no specific exam as IAS exam and to become an IAS officer one has to apply, appear and crack Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC every year after Graduation in any stream. There is no requirement of any percentage of marks in Graduation for application to Civil Service Exam.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate can apply for Civil Service Exam.

IAS entrance exam has been conducted by the UPSC department 1 ime in year . It is the most toughest entrance exam for the selection of IAS student .

IAS entrance exam eligibility:

1. you should be passed the graduation from any recognized university.
2. age must be between the 21 to 30 years.
age relaxation as per gov. rules.
3. Indian citizen.

selection process:
1. Written test (preliminary entrance exam)
2. Main entrance exam
3. Interview etc

Preliminary entrance exam has been conducted in the July month .
after the selection in preliminary entrance exam call for the next round Main entrance exam

You need to apply for the UPSC Civil services Exams.

Eligibilty to apply for this exams is:

Education: Graduation pass in any Stream

AGE- Minimum 21 years
Maximum 30 years
Candidates belonging to OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations

ATTEMPTS- General candidates- 4 times
OBC- 7 times
SC/ST- No such restriction


Next UPSC Prelims Exams will be held on 19th MAY 2013

Notification for this exam would be released this month only

you can apply for IAS through UPSC..as you have completed your bachelor's degree you are eligible.age limit for applying for IAS is 21 to 30 years(relaxable upto 5 years for sc/st and upto 3 years for obc)..IAS Selection process is done in 3 steps
1 prelims exam
2 main exam
3 personal interview

After the completion of b,com you can attempt groups for IAS exam

And this exam is conducted by upsc.

Eligibility criteria :

Educational Qualification :

You should have done Graduation in Any course from recognized university or college .

And your Age should be between 21 -30 years

And Relaxation given in Age for following Categories :
OBC : 3 years
SC/ST: 5 years
Ex-Service Men : 5 years

Number of Attempts allowed:
General : 4 attempts
OBCs : 7 attempts
SCs/STs: No limit

This is conducted in three stages namely

Prelim.,

Main Examination

Interview.

IAS - Indian Administrative Service, to become an IAS officer one has to crack Civil Service Exam conductedby UPSC every year.

There is no percentage of marks criteria required in Graduation for application to Civil Service Exam.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appeared for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate.

So being a Commerce Graduate you can apply for Civil Service Exam to join IAS.

IAS stands for the Indian Administrative Service.You need to clear all three stages of civil services examinations in order to become an IAS officer.

As you have mentioned that you have passed your degree in commerce ,you are fulfilling the educational requirement.

Now you should be between 21-30 years in order to fulfill the age criteria.Relaxations applicable to obc and sc/st respectively.

The no of attempts allowed for candidates of different category are as below:

General:4

OBC:7

SC/ST: no limit.

3.SBI challan form.

If you have completed your graduation and you want to give the IAS exam, then this is the right time to fill the form as the forms for the preliminary IAS exam are out. You can apply to it by going to the official site of the upsc. www.upsc.gov.in
The payment you can make either by offline or online. For giving the IAS exam, you will have to follow the certain eligibility criteria-
You should be a citizen of india
You should be a graduate in any disciple from a recognized Indian university.
Your age should be not less than 21 years and not more than 30 years of age.
A relaxation of 3 years is given to the obc candidates whereas a relaxation of 5 years is given to the sc/st category students.

The exam is said to be one of the toughest exams in India.

To become an IAS officer, first of all you will need to complete your bachelors degree program in any discipline from a recognized university. Upon completion of your bachelors degree program, you will need to write the civil service examination which is conducted by Union Public Service Commission. There is no particular specialization need to be done to be eligible for the Civil Service Examination. If you are a graduate within the age limit of 21-30 years, you can certainly write the examination to become an IAS Officer.

This civil service exam consists of written examination and interview. You should keep in mind that in order to be considered for the post of IAS (Indian Administrative Service) officer, you have become one of the best strikers in the examination.

The written examination is conducted in two stages and is based on the following subject areas:

General Studies
Civil Service Aptitude Test
English
Essay Writing
One Indian Regional Language


In addition, there is also provision for electives in the second stage of written examination, where candidates can choose any two subjects, depending on the experience and expertise in specific areas.

A general category candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August 2013

The upper age limit prescribed above will be relaxable:

(i) upto a maximum of five years if a candidate belongs to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe.

(ii) upto a maximum of three years in the case of candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes who are eligible to avail of reservation applicable to such candidates.

(iii) upto a maximum of five years if a candidate had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from the 1st January, 1980 to the 31st day of December, 1989.

(iv) upto a maximum of three years in the case of Defence Services personnel disabled in operations during hostilities with any foreign country or in a disturbed area and released as a consequence thereof:

(v) upto a maximum of five years in the case of ex-servicemen including Commissioned Officers and ECOs/SSCOs who have rendered at least five years Military Service as on 1st August, 2006 and have been released (i) on completion of assignment (including those whose assignment is due to be completed within one year from 1st August, 2006) otherwise than by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency, or (ii) on account of physical disability attributable to Military Service, or (iii) on invalidment.

(vi) upto a maximum of five years in the case of ECOs/SSCOs who have completed an initial period of assignment of five years Military Service as on 1st August, 2006 and whose assignment has been extended beyond five years and in whose case the Ministry of Defence issues a certificate that they can apply for civil employment and that they will be released on three month's notice on selection from the date of receipt of offer of appointment.

(vii) upto a maximum of 10 years in the case of blind, deaf-mute and Orthopaedically handicapped persons.

Yes you can apply for IAS exam after completing your B. Com degree........

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR IAS EXAM:
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree of a recognized university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.

Age limit: 21 years must be completed on 1st August of the year, which a candidate is appearing. Maximum 30 for general category, 33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs.

Number of Attempts:
General - 4 attempt

OBC - 7 Attempt

SC/ST - No limit on number of attempt

You are required to apply online by using website http://www.upsconline.nic.in


IAS(Civil Service Exam) has three stages to be cleared by candidate.
