KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) is the state level test in karnataka conducted by KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority) for the admissions to various UG and PG courses. Admissions will be given on the basis of merit rank which will be prepared on the basis of performance of applicants in both qualifying exam and entrance exam.

KCET Application Process
- Visit the official website.
- Click on link "New User" and then "Click Here to Register".
- Read the instructions and Click on "Proceed to Apply Online".
- Fill the required details in registration form.
- Enter the security code and Click on "Submit" button to complete the registration.
- Login and Fill the details such as Personal Details, Examination Details, Communication Details, Previous CET Details, Study Details etc.
- In next step, Upload the scanned copies of Photograph, Signature and Thumb Impression etc.
- Accept the declaration and Click on "Submit" button.
- Make a application fee payment in last step.
- Print the application form for your future reference.

Important Dates of KCET 2019
- Application Process Starts : February, 2019
- Last Date of Application : March, 2019
- Availability of Admit Card : April, 2019
- KCET 2019 Exam : April, 2019
- KCET Exam Result Declaration : May, 2019
- Counselling Starts : June, 2019

KCET Exam Pattern
- Exam comprises of three papers physics, chemistry and maths/biology.
- Total 230 questions will be asked.
- 1 Mark is alloted for every correct responce.
- No negative marking for any incorrect answer.

KCET Exam Syllabus

Physics (60 Q, 60 Marks, 70 Minutes)
Electrostatics, Magnetism, Optics, Current Electricity and Waves

Chemistry (60 Questions, 60 Marks, 70 Minutes)
Organic Chemistry, Surface Chemistry, Solid State, Electrostatics, Polymers, Biomolecules

Maths (60 Questions, 60 Marks, 70 Minutes)
Algebra, Integral Calculus, Vectors, Trigonometry, Probability, Linear Programming

Kannada Language (50 Questions, 50 Marks, 70 Minutes)
