You definitely need to have a valid graduation degree from a UGC recognized university. No problem as you are about to complete your physiotherapy course. If you are keen to participate in IAS exam then go for a degree from a recognized university based on your academic background and then make yourself eligible for IAS exam. The main tasks in front of you is identifying a bachelors degree course related to your field. Because UPSC don't need any specific branch to be eligible any graduate from any discipline is/are eligible for the examination. Pursue a course which will also help in preparation. Because then you won't have double work in studying both diverse streams. Graduation and Optional preparation. Make it simpler by choosing a course which makes your optional preparation easier. Note this point only valid graduates are eligible for IAS exam. Nonetheless you have ample time to make yourself eligible. If you aren't yet. Once go through a notification of UPSC civil services so that you can be clear enough as your ultimate goal is to make into civil services. Please click here to view the latest notification in your preferred language. Fine, I would like to conclude this post wishing you all the best for your future endeavors. Regards Aditya |
