LIC stands for Life Insurance Corporation.

The eligibility criteria for LIC agent are following:-

- The candidate should have passed 12th class in any stream from a recognized board.

- The candidate age should be in between 21 to 30 years.However, there is relaxation in upper age limit for OBC candidates by 3 years and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

- The candidate should be a citizen of India.

- To apply for LIC agent licence,the candidate has to contact the Development Officer of their nearest branch office.

-The interview is conducted by the Branch Manager,where after qualifying, the candidate is sent to the Divisional/agency training centre for the training of 100 hours.
