Re: How can I become a professor in Sanskrit? How can I prepare for NET?
To become a Sanskrit professor you will have to complete your masters in Sanskrit first and after that Ph.D. in the same subject is required.
National Eligibility Test (NET) is conducted to select candidates for only Assistant Professor or both Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor in Indian universities and colleges. Eligibility: Candidates who have scored at least 55% marks in their Master’s degree from a UGC recognized college/ university can give this exam. The minimum percentage required for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD categories is 50%. Following are some of the top institutes for NET exam coaching: Training Establishment, Secunderabad AV Lucent Educations, New Delhi Net Experts India, New Delhi The Planet Vidya, Orissa Venkateswara Reddy study circle, Hyderabad Brilliant Tutorials, Chennai |
