Can one become a professor after doing JRF or a PHD is necessary?


Can one become a professor after doing JRF or a PHD is necessary?Since I want to become a professor what should I do after passing Net JRF?What is the difference between both of them?Please explain in detail.

Those who have JRF qualification along with post graduation can easily get lecturer or assistant professor job in colleges. You have to perform well in the interview and must have a good academic record to get selected.
In government universities passing NET lectureship is essential for becoming an assistant professor.
