Hi,

Well, regarding your higher study in IIT or NIT,as you pass from AMIE, which is a recognised body, you have to appear for GATE exam.

GATE exam in a nutshell:-

>>This exam is mandatory if you want to do your Mtech in IITs or NITs.

>>As in your case the eligibility is B.E/B.Tech equivalent examinations, of Professional Societies, recognized by MHRD/UPSC/AICTE which is AMIE as your concern.

>>You must not have any back log during your course of study.

>>There is no limit for appearing, you can go for any attempt.

So, choose your subject and write this exam, you can get good NITs and IITs, but you must score 560-750 for getting them respectively.

Yes you can get seat in IIT's or NIT's
But you can do M.Tech courses now
You must pass GATE exam
after passing GATE you can get admission in IIT's or NIT's
