Dear Friend,
You must note that mostly there is three overall re-compartment examinations held by the Board but it may also extend or reduced depending on the type of Board.

You can attempt all of them if you are failing in examinations,That is if you had failed for the first then you can apply for the second while failing in second you can apply for third.But after failing in last compartment examinations you will be considered as failed and you can't re attempt the examinations.

And,Passing the compartment examinations you will be considered as passed in Board Examinations.

Regarding,Procedure so there is mostly no procedure just you will be getting forward to another one automatically if you will be failed in the first.And,All this procedure is done by the board and schools,You just need to confirm them that you have to give the compartment examinations again.

the compartment exams after 1month from the date of announcement of results,

in compartments you have to only score 33% to clear your exam ,if you clear that you pass in the board exam,

for preparation of compart means maths paper you should prepare hard and solve question papers of previous 10attempts ,


be calm and prepare hard, you will clear it ten

why is there 6 subjects in pcm cbse...and if student fails in any of the main subject...then how board can give him pass certificate...cause for paasing 12 only 5 subjects are needed...if any one fails in any of 1 subject just because of additional subject he passes...
