yes you can give compartmental exam of both physics and maths same year!
a student can give compartmental exam if he/she failed in either one or two subject since you have failed in only two subject , so you can give!
a student failed in three subject would be considered as failed!

sorry my dear cbse comartment means fail in one subject if you are fail in more than one subject you are completely failed you have to do 12th again .hope a better future for you.
