Re: How can I be an IFS Officer after Diploma?
IFS stands for the Indian Foreign Services or Indian Forest Services. For both these services, UPSC conducts the entrance exam.
The minimum qualification required to appear for entrance exam is bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Final year candidates can also apply for the exam. So, you can not apply for the entrance exam of IFS after diploma in Civil Engineering. You must do graduation to become eligible for the exam. |

Re: How can I be an IFS Officer after Diploma?
The eligibility criteria for the Indian Forest Services/Indian Foreign Services exam is bachelor's degree in any stream from a UGC recognized university. Final year candidates of bachelor's degree can apply for the exam.
So, no diploma candidates are not eligible for IFS entrance exam which UPSC conducts every year. You need to complete your bachelor's degree first. |
