I have just got my 12 th class result..........Can you give me any idea if i wanted to direct my career in the field of designing and fashion?

well if you are in interested to go for fashion and designing, then there are lots of colleges offering them. they are

there are numerous other fashion technology intitute, but i would recommenf=d you to join any 1 of these two.

I am 12th Passed from CBSE Board in New Delhi. And pursuing BCOM 1st year. can i join Fashion Designing Course. 12th percentage is would compulsory for admission in Fashion Designing course. And what attacement is required.

There are two courses in the filed of designing and Fashion.These are :-

• B.Des(Bachelor in Designing).
• B.Technology(Bachelor in Design and Technology).

For taking admission in this course you should appear in NIFT(National Institute of Fashion Technology).In order to apply for this exam,you will need to meet these Eligibility conditions :-



Educational qualification :-

• (For B.Des) - Intermediate pass out in any stream from recognized university.
• (For B-Technology) - Intermediate pass ot with science stream having Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics.

Marks :-

• For SC/ST Category - 50% Marks in 10+2.
• For General/OBC Category - 65% Marks in 10+2.

Age :-

• Candidates age should not be above 22 years.

Exam pattern :-

• It will include questions from 5 sections.
• Total number of questions will be 200.
• Total marks will be 200.
• Total duration will be 3 hours.

Exam Syllabus :-

• Quantitative Ability.
• Communication Ability.
• English Comprehension.
• Analytical Ability.
• General Knowledge and Current Affairs.

For joining Fashion Designing course you must be 10+2 pass with 50% marks. Any stream students are eligible for this course and you can get admission into top college through entrance examination.

National Institute of Fashion Technology conducts entrance examination every year for admission into Bachelor course of Fashion Designing. Those who want to get admission into NIFT have to appear for this entrance examination.

Student who have passed 12th(any stream – Science, Commerce, Maths, Arts etc.) with minimum 50% aggregate marks are eligible for Bachelor degree in Fashion Designing course.Many reputed college offers bachelor’s degree.

Admission process is different for different colleges e.g. – Some colleges such as – Symbiosis Institute of Design organize entrance test SET for preliminary screening.
