If you want to go for government job after completing BDS (Bachelor in Dental Surgery), then you can apply for following government jobs:-

>> Civil Services:- Civil services jobs like IAS, IPS,IFS etc.

>> Banking:- Banking jobs like clerical, managerial etc. and recruitment is done through IBPS exam.

>> CDS (Combined Defence Services):- Conducted by UPSC twice in a year to recruit eligible candidates for Indian defence services.

>> Railway:- After BDS you can apply for job in railway and recruitment is done by written exam conducted by RRB (Railway Recruitment Board).

So these are the major job options for after completing your BDS degree course.

It is a wonderful branch of science which offers many job opportunities.It is one of the best course preferred now a days by many students.
There are many government jobs.For some jobs we need to attend an exam if we qualify in that the will call you for an interview and for some jobs you can apply directly without any exam, you need to submit your resume for them, than they will call you for an interview.

Government jobs for BDS candidates:-
1-Research Departments under central government.
2.joining navy or airforce
3.Army Dental corps-you can get job in army by writing SSC or DCP exam.
3.joining Indian railways through RRB
4.In government hospitals as dentist.
5.In Indian Civil Services like IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS etc.,
