I am doing my b.tech final year in electrical engineering going to releve in the year 2014.i want to join in merchant navy.what are the courses i need to do and what is the fees structures for that courses.please help me.and also include the info about the scholorship.

It is not possible for you to do Merchant Navy,after completing engineering in electrical engineering.
Those who have completed engineering in either Marine Engineering or in Mechanical Engineering are only eligible to become Merchant Navy,otherwise there is no other option.

There are only three ways generally to become a merchant navy,one is after studying B.Sc in nautical science,other is having done engineering in mechanical engineering and the last one is itself completing B.Tech in marine engineering,a four year degree course.

As you have not done engineering in mechanical and marine engineering,you are not eligible to become a merchant navy.
