NDA exam conducted by upsc board every year two times.
NDA qualification:
*candidate should pass in 10+2 in any recognized board.
*candidate pass in twelth maths and physics.
age limit:
* candidate age limit is 16-19 years.
no age relaxation for this exam.
sex:
* only male candidates are eligible.
NDA wings:
*Indian army .
*Indian airforce,
*Indian navy.
NDA exam pattern:
priliminary exam,
main exam,
physical test and interview.

After 10+2,the process to get into Indian navy is to apply for NDA,stands for national defence academy,which is a entrance given by students who have passed 10+2,
the criteria for applying in the NDA is
1)minimum qualification-10+2 with physics and maths for air force and navy and with any stream for army.
2)age limit-16.5 to 19 years.
3)unmarried male candidate.

So NDA is conducted to select candidates for all the three wings of our defence,it is not possible to get into defence after 10+2 without NDA once yiu become graduate,then their is different perspective,but with 10+2 only NDA is the way to get into defence and while applying for NDA it is necessary to have any minimum percentage,only 10+2 passed candidates are required,for more details visit the website of all the three wings of your defence.

You should have completed HSC to join with navy. Study of 12th class must be completed with Physics and mathemtics as subjects. Your age must be between 16 1/2 and 19 years. Unmarried male candidtes are eligible. NDA exam is carried out by UPSC two times an year. Basic mathematics and aptitude are asked for the exam.

Physical Standard for NDA Examination

To Join Indian Navy Just After Passing Class 12th, You need to apply for the UPSC NDA exams:


Educational Qualifications:
Army Wing-12th Pass in any stream
Navy & Airforce Wing- 12th Pass with Subject Physics and Maths as subjects.


AGE-
Minimum age 16.5 years
Maximum age- 19 years

Only Unmarried Male candidates can apply

Selection Procedure involves:
>> Written Test
>> SSB interview


Papers of the written tests are:
Mathematics of 300 marks
General ability of 600 marks

Next NDA exams would be held in April 2014

Only Candidates born between 2nd January 1996 to 1st July 1998 can apply for these exams
