Either option is quite the same. 12th passed candidates should quality NDA for selection. Graduates need to qualify CDSE for selection. After passing 12th Indian Navy can be joined through cracking NDA(National Defence Academy) entrance exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II.

The eligible candidate aspiring to join Indian Navy of NDA, must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subject of studies from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental health.

The selection is through written exam followed by personal Interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test.

I am a female candidate who is very much interested in navy.Please let me know why female candidates are not allowed to write NDA entrance exam.Are there any other vacancies for female candidates in Indian navy after class 12?

• To join Indian Navy, You have to appear in National Defence Academy(NDA) Examination organized twice in a year by Union Public Service Commission of India (UPSC).

• So you can appear in NDA exam 2 times through the year known as NDA I & NDA II.

• You can also join Indian army & Air force through NDA exam.

♦ Eligibility Criteria :

• To join Indian India Navy through NDA exam, you should have completed 12th with Physics, Chemistry & Maths subjects.

• There is no restriction on minimum percentage of marks in 12th.

• For NDA exam, your Age should be between 16.5 to 19 years.

• You should have Indian citizenship.

• Only Unmarried male candidate can appear in NDA exam.

i am studing in 12th std (science) i want to join navy i am sure that i am pass 12th std with good percentage then what should i do?

There won't be much difference of joining in Navy either after completion of 12th or after completion of Graduation.

But my suggestion would be to join Navy after completion of 12th class itself.

For this you need to crack NDA Exam.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy. UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year will conduct NDA Exam to recruit the candidates into following defence services
Army wing
Navy wing
Air Force wing

As you are interested in joining Navy, you should fulfill the below mentioned eligibility criteria

-Completion of 12th class with Mathematics and Physics as the compulsory subjects from a recognized college

You should be an unmarried male candidate

Your age should be between 16 1/2 years to 19 years.

You should be a citizen of India.

If you fulfill this, have good preparation for NDA Exam and crack it.

If you get through this exam, then you need to appear for Interview and for Medical test also.

After getting through the next 2 round also, your final joining will be confirmed.

commerce...?
