Re: How can I prepare for English for Bank Exams?
Many of the candidates will find it difficult to score high marks in English section in Bank Exams.
There will be 50 Questions from this category in many of the Bank Exams. The maximum number of marks for English section are 50. Each right answer will carry 1 mark and for every 4 wrong answers that a candidate attempts, 1 mark from the actual marks you scored will be deducted. There will be Questions from the following categories -Vocabulary -Grammar aspects -Comprehension To be strong enough in Comprehension, practice as many number of passages as you can. Practice makes you to understand the given passage in less time and to identify the important points in each paragraph. This will let you to answer the questions followed by paragraph in less time. For Grammar aspects, try to be strong enough -Articles -Prepositions -Tenses -Active and Passive voice -Phrasal verbs etc. Have good preparation for all the fundamental aspects of Grammar. For Vocabulary, there is no particular syllabus to prepare. Its better as much vocabulary as you have. I suggest you to learn the meaning for 10 new words every day and try to use them in your regular conversations. Try to purchase the books which are available in the market and which are having good content on above aspects. Wish you all the best. |

Dear..
English is a subject where you can score maximum marks if you prepare fully for it. For abnk exams first of all clear your doubts that you have in your basics, Best book is CBSE BOOKS and then after go for Wren and Martin series and read that book which will help you a lot, Learn word meanings, One word substitution, Synonym-antonym, Idiom phrases, Direct indirect, active passive from this book and after that solve English unsolved paper and you can also lucent books as they are also of fine quality. Hope it will help Cheers...!!! |

I would suggest you to revise the concepts from NCERT books of class 10th, 11th and 12th. Moreover you can also refer to the Arun Sharma's book named How to prepare for Verbal Ability. This much preparation would suffice to clear your exam. All The Best!! |
