Re: How to do CA after completing B.Tech this year?
It is definitely possible to do Chartered Accountancy after Bachelor of Technology. But before you go ahead with it, you should consider some other options as well.
For example Master of Business Administration according to me will be the best option. You can do MBA in wide range of streams but since you are from Computer stream, IT would be a perfect option. You can get good jobs after MBA. The B.Tech+MBA combination is generally considered very good. Besides IT is just one of the streams, you can do MBA in wide range of streams such as: Finance Banking Retail Management Human Resources Marketing Economics IT To apply for MBA you should appear for the Common Admission Test. To do so you will need 50 percent marks in graduation. However if belongs to SC/ST then 45 percent marks are required. Clearing the CAT exam will give you opportunity to get admission in some of the best colleges in India like Indian Institutes of Management. However if you insists on Chartered Accountancy then you will first have to check marks in B.Tech. If you finished B.Tech with 60 percent marks then take admission in the second stage called IPCC. However if scored less than 60 percent, you will have to clear Common Proficiency Test. After which you can apply for the IPCC course. CPT Exam Pattern 1. Fundamentals of Accountancy 2. Economics 3. Mercantile Law 4. Quantitative Aptitude These subjects are divided into 2 groups. Score 30 percent in each group to clear the test. Following which you can take admission for IPCC. This is however only if you have scored less than 60 percent in B.Tech. Otherwise, skip the Common Proficiency Test and directly apply for the IPCC. |

Re: How to do CA after completing B.Tech this year?
Quote:
CA course is conducted by ICAI in 3 stages: >> CPT >> IPCC >> Final Candidates who are Graduates can get exemption from appearing from the CPT stage if they meet the below conditions: For the Commerce Graduates needs to score minimum aggregate of 55% marks in B.COM to get exemption from appearing in the CPT exams. For the Non Commerce Graduates, if they have scored more than 60% marks in Graduation, they get exemption from appearing in the CPT exams CA course will not be an good option to do after completing your BTECH. I would suggest that instead of doing CA you should try for Government jobs like: >> BANK PO >> BANK Specialist Officers >> SSC Combined Graduate Level exams >> LIC AAO |
