Re: How does 10th mark sheet differ from 10th certificate?
Here , you have apply for NDA.It's very nice that you have interest in NDA.you have a bright career in that.
NDA - National defence academy NDA having three branch - Indian army - Indian navy - Indian air force Now , you are confused to upload 10th std documents.Actually , here you have to upload 10th certificate , not 10th marksheet. In the 10th certificate , board certify you that you have passed 10th std with class of passing. In the certificated , your name , passing class , your school is defined.you have to upload it as a 10th certificate. Diffirance between 10th marksheet & certificate In the 10th marksheet , it is given what marks is obtained for particular subjects.at below , it is given what total marks , what percentage & which passing class is obtained by you. In the 10th certificate , Not any type of marks is given. In the 10th certificate , you are certified that you have passed the 10th std with passing class with your school name. Here , you have required to upload 10th certicate in NDA exam.that mean you have to apply 10th certificate provided by board. |

Re: How does 10th mark sheet differ from 10th certificate?
There is nothing to confuse. You are actually confused over 10th marksheet and 10th certificate. Both of these are entirely different but belongs to matriculation. 10th marksheet is a paper document issued by the concerned educational board to the students in which the subjects, year of passing, session, marks obtained, total marks, parentage etc are mentioned in detailed. On the other hand, 10th certificate is also known as 10th diploma. 10th certificate/diploma is a paper document which contained only your parentage, date of birth and name of school. The main requirement of 10th certificate is for date of birth.

There is no confusion at all. Friend you have your documents of 10th and 12th class where one is marksheet in which your subject name as well as marks out of has been written and certificate as you got it after the marksheet in which it has been written " your name , roll number, class, school and a declaration that this student has been passed in this class ." There is a seal.of authorisation of recognized board and your school. It is an evidence of a student that he has been passed in his/her 10th or 12th class. If they are asking you for marksheet then attach that document where marks and total has been written and if certificate then certificate of that respective class. Re: How does 10th mark sheet differ from 10th certificate?
Nice to see your interest in the field of the NDA. National Defence Academy (NDA) examination is conducted twice in every year by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for the selection in the different wing of the NDA. If you are more interested in the NDA field then to appear in the NDA examination you need following criteria.
Eligibility Criteria for NDA Examination. --> The minimum educational qualification is pass 12th class from a recognize board. 12th board exam appearing student can also apply for NDA. --> The age must be between 16 1/2 to 19 years at the time of examination. In the 10th marksheet ,it is given what marks is obtained for particular subjects at below , it is given what total marks, what percentage & which passing class is obtained by you. In the 10th certificate , Not any type of marks is given. Wish you all the best for your ahead career |

Re: How does 10th mark sheet differ from 10th certificate?
Marksheet considered particular exam marks in different subjects, while passing subjects refers about the pass status of a particular. While, is you are a CBSE board student, then 10th class marksheet and passing certificate are both same and thus one can attach his marksheet at the place of passing certificate.
