2are there any entrance exams by nasa which provide course in aeronautical engineering after 12th?

To Enter into NASA

Studies is a part to enter into NASA means thing is

*National or International Winning Project or Paper Presentation on Rockets and propellant which can be used advanced, How to Increase the Trust Force and what chemical can be used at take off time

*automatically from NASA or ISRO they will call you for Representing the project there, this Year a student you finished 12th standard ,did a paper presentation on , what chemical can be used instant of Hydrogen, she told Ethanol can be used.

* will i get an m tech admission if am just above the minimum mark?

Astronuat is something whose preparation starts from scrap

• read everthing you can get your hands on about astronauts,space and whatever field you want to work in.
• For astronuat a college degree is necessity and of course the grades in too either it is engineering, biological or physical sciencd or mathematics.
• If you do M.S it is well and good.

After college you need 3 years of related experience in your field.

after degree and some experience its time to apply for astronauts positions.NASA recieces an averge of 4015 application to fill around 20 slots for every 2 years.and they call around 118 applicants from total for ASB interview based on
experience
potentioal
motivation
ability to function as team
and communication skill.

If applicant intersted in pilot or commandor position then instead of mission specialist then you have to go for at least 1000 hours of flight time in commant of a jet aircraft.These type of training you have to face and need to do in future that why many Many applicants do not meet medical standards while others withdraw after learning all that the job entails. After all these incidents Astronaut Selection Board chooses final candidates and pass to NASA and their decision will be final.
Be prepare physically and Mentally as this not the 9-5 job which one expect but a 24 to 24 hr full dedication........

I can understand that u want ur child to achieve in that field.
But it is not right. ONLY HE CAN decide what field is best for him.
He has not even got the mentality to choose at this stage.

So please don't pressurize ur child to show much importance to space field. he may hate that permanently. Who knows? He might be interested in Biology or Computers too!!!! He can even aspire to become an Artist too... so u cannot decide anything. it's in his hands..

Appreciate whatever he chose to become!

Now let him finish his Schooling first!!

prepare for B.Tech from an advanced college and getting everything whatever needed to fulfill the requirement.
on the opposite side you could have other option go with everything attached with which can make sure the percentage to enter and then apply for it.
