AICTE is All India Council for Technical Education. It is statutory body for approving technical colleges for courses like diploma, degree and master's degree in technology. AICTE has not approved any college which offers distance diploma in electrical engineering or any other stream.

If you want to pursue diploma in electrical engineering, you must apply for entrance examination conducted by state technical university. Every state conducts its own entrance examination for diploma in different discipline. You can apply for your state technical exam and clear it to get admission in diploma in electrical engineering.
