HI

First you need to appear for GATE exam which is held every year on 2nd sunday of feb.
You need to score good marks in GATE

After GATE score are out ( Generally around 15th March ), many government open post.
You need to apply to them with your gate score card.
Based on your gate score ranking, you would be given a call for Personal interview.

hi,iam an E&C student after clearing gate exam can i get govt job.is there any oppurtunity for an E&C student.

GATE is best way to getting place in PSU's and Government companies. The selection process is recruiters call directly to Group discussion/Interview based on the performance in the GATE.
