How to get into NIT(Motilal Nehru NIT)? What is the procedure for state candidate


Sir, please tell me how to get into a NIT(i.e. motilal nehru NIT) of my own state(U.P.) when my state rank is 3892. Do i need to sit on ccb and wait for counselling or there is a different procedure for state candidate.

please guide and and answer me in detail. I am really confused ????

Yes, definitely you will have to apply for counselling through CCB.

Without CCB, you cannot get seat in your home state's NIT i.e. NIT Allahabad.

As your State Rank is 3892, so there are likely chances to get seat in NIT Allahabad in anyone of the branches.

Getting seat in Computer Science branch is bit difficult as the seat of this branch fills very quickly with good rankers.

In case, you don't get seat in your desired branch, then you can apply for Spot Round counselling as well.
