Re: Fee structure of MCA and MBA course? Which course to do after completing BCA?
On completion of the MCA course your job profile will be technically oriented. You can choose amongst options like programming, networking, hardware etc. After MBA your role will be more in the administration area. You can choose amongst areas like marketing, IT, finance etc. The course fees will be more for the MBA course. The MCA course will be around Rs 25000 to Rs 40000 per semester. The MBA course will cost anywhere between Rs 300000 to 500000 per semester.

Re: Fee structure of MCA and MBA course? Which course to do after completing BCA?
The fee structure for MCA varies from college to college....
It is for government and different for Private college... In govt colleges it is comparatively less than private colleges. For example.... the fees per semester in IGNOU is up to Rs.12,200 excluding the elective subject charges...while in institutes such as BITS, it reaches to Rs.30,000 per semester. Total fees of MBA varies from institute to institute.... The total fee for institutes like IIM is around 15 lacs. The total fee for institutes like XLRI, FMS is 5 to 8 lacs. The total fee for other institutes are 2 to 6 lacs. MBA and MCA both are post graduation courses. The basic differences between these two courses are: 1. Objectives: MBA is Masters in Business Administration, while MCA is Masters in Computer Application. MBA are for those who are interested in Business and management and corporate world, whereas MCA are for those who are interested in Software industry and programming. 2. Duration: MBA is a 2 years post graduation course and MCA is a 3 years post graduation course. 3. Eligibility: For MBA, anyone who has completed his or her graduation in any field from a recognized university is eligible for MBA. For MCA, Any graduate who has passed or appearing for the final year degree examination in any discipline (Science, Commerce, Arts, Engineering or any approved University) is eligible to apply. But candidates must have mathematics as a subject in their 10+2 course or any one year of graduation 4. Employment areas: For MBA, Business Consultancies, Brand & Marketing, Non-profit Organizations, Personal Business, Export Companies, Financial Organizations, Industrial Houses, Multinational Companies etc.... For MCA, Computers and Related Electronic Equipment Manufacturers, Database Management, E-Commerce, Networking, Embedded Technologies, Design Support And Data Communications, System Maintenance, Security and Surveillance Companies, Software Development Companies etc etc.... So Both the courses are equally demanding, salaries will also be same but one has to go with his interest.... |
