hello sir,m bds graduate..i want to know is how to get job for dentist in upsc..is any exam conducted,when and what is syllabus and eligibility for that...

look dear i can understand your inability to find any job after doing BDS And thts why you seem frustated dear friend now a days people are not just restricted to BDS they are also going for masters in the other 9 streams that you have and persue higher education because only then you will be considered as a good dentist and can attract croud/ patients to your clinic but if you cant do that then you can obviously try for some teaching posts in BDS colleges they pay you well in initial and then you can obviously lean more over there and can also continue studies there and can take on patients and gain experience,, or you can apply for govt posts where ever there is vaccancy for BDS graduates in hospitals .. but i dont think that UPSC conducts any special exam to intake BDS graduates . good luck pal and all the best hope you decide your career soon.... bye take care

there is no such exam conducted by upsc
since you have done bds then you can join army dental corps

for this eligibility criteria is
1: Less then 45 Years of age
2: bds( 55%), if any has done mds they can also join

if you full fill the above two criteria the you will be called for interview at delhi
if you are selected then you will get post of captain
so try hard

The exam is called indian medical services exam conducted by UPSC every year. while defence forces/central police organisation's docter's recruitment is done by them....military has a separate body called armed forces dental service . also people can apply in base hospital service as civilian docters

upsc dont conduct any exams and give jobs for dentist .. you better go for ms programme if you could't shine after bds

For getting admitted to the dentist in upsc you will have to give the exam of UPSC that is UPSC Combined Medical Services Examination, 2010
