Re: How to go in Research Field after doing graduation in BSc(Hons) Botany?
If you have interest in Genetics or Mycology, then I would suggest you to go for a post graduation like M.Sc in Genetics or in mycology.
though genetics have more scope, so I would opt for Genetics. Eligibility for M.sc in Genetics: The candidates should complete their B.Sc. under any registered University in respective subjects like Zoology, Botany, Biochemistry, Genetics, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology or Life Sciences and Biomedical Sciences in Science stream are eligible for M.sc in Genetics... The marks of admission for this course vary from University to University. In various colleges and Universities it conducts entrance exams for the admission of the students. After that go for M.phil...(in genetics)... Eligibility for M.Phil in Genetics: Who have passed Masters’ degree with minimum 55% in Genetics subjects can go for this. After M.Phil, the research is open to you.... Best wishes..... |
