I want to join in aeronautical engineering so I have just completed my diploma in mechanical engineering how to join and what are the entrance exams I want to write please reply me fastly

To be eligible to pursue Aeronautical Engineering course, you should have passed three years Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering course or 12th standard with PCM stream from a Government recognised board.

Admissions in Aeronautical Engineering course are done through entrance examinations like JEE Main, EAMCET, etc., Being a Diploma holder, you are eligible to get direct admission in second year of four years B.E/ B.Tech course through lateral entry admission process.

You need to appear and qualify the lateral entry examinations like LEET, ECET, JELET, etc., which is conducted by your respective technical board. Based on your examination rank, you will be allotted a seat in a particular college and you can get admission in second year of four years Aeronautical Engineering course.

Admission to B.E. / B.Tech in Aeronautical engineering is based on merit i.e the marks secured in the final exams of 10+2 and through entrance exams conducted by the concerned university.

Eligibility criteria for B.E./B.Tech in Aeronautical engineering :-

-The candidate should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Maths or equivalent qualification with minimum 60% marks in the aggregate for B.E/B.Tech degree in aeronautical engineering.
