please tell me how to join airforce?
and please give me some details of UES exam.

you can join airforce through CDS,UES,FAST TRACK ENTRY SCHEME in there technical as well as logistic cadre for ground duty as well as warfare branches of IAF.

UES:it is entry scheme for graduates in flying as well as technical branches of Airforce.You have to appear for an entrance exam,interview and medical fitness test.

FAST TRACK ENTRY SCHEME: it is on campus recruitment program newly introduce by IAF.They conduct campus placement in some selected gov.institute across India.

it stands for university entry scheme,it DOESN'T HAVE WRITTEN EXAM,there is an interview in the college and then the selected students are called for SSB and medical.

there is ssc exam to recruit graduates form any branch of learning in engg.
UES scheme is there to take students directly from 3rd year and 4th year too.

you can join indian airforce after BE through UES.UES is a university entry scheme.in this scheme to need not to qualify written test.through a short interview you are allow to attain ssb.ssb is a very turf selection round.it will held 5 day.it is based on interview on technical ,non technical,medical.

Dear friend,

After doing BE there are two options for you to go into Air force.

First is the CDS exam which is a written exam and you have to clear written exam only then you will get call for SSB and for your GD and PI.

Second is the direct call for GD and PI.

There comes one form for graduates or degree holders.
Fill that form and then you will direct get call for GD and PI.

Every year Indian air force will select the candidates of engg. through university entry scheme . The only procedure is that they will select you for the SSB first in the initial stage if you go to a institute where they come. after that you have to clear SSB for the selection in IAF.

after graduation: flying branch/ flying pilot
eligibility: unmarried indian citizen(men and women)
age limit: 19 to 23yrs
education: maths and physics at 10+2 is a must.. any graduate is elligible
selection process:
1. through CDSE exam after graduation or
2. NCC entry( only men with C certificate) or
3. SSC entry

after passing any of these rounds, candidates must appear for PABT( pilot aptitude Battery test) this has 2 stages.

Hello,

It is an advantage for you that you are a pre final year student. You can easily get into the air force by simply following these steps:

1.You can get in through SSB exam through university entry scheme.
apply for that first.
2.IAF officers will come to your college for an interview.
If you are selected, you can give the SSB exam.
3.In SSB there are 2 level testing.
If you clear the first level, then you will be selected for the 2nd level.
You can enter through the second level. In the second level, they check for your physical fitness, group behaviour etc..
3.After that, there is medical tests.
4.After clearing the medical tests, you will sent for training.
5.And after successful completion of training, you will be selected as an officer in the Indian Airforce.

It is good to see that plenty of students are opting for defense service.

u can join a airforce by its own entrance exam.
UES (university entry schemes) is a non upsc exam for join ssb.

A women can join Indian Air Force through short service comission in all the branches but as an engineer, you may join the following two branches.

Flying Branch

Educational qualification:Any Graduate Degree / BE / B Tech with minimum 60 % marks in aggregate and having Physics & Maths at 10+2.

Technical Branch

Minimum 60% marks in aggregate in Engineering.


The Application for the same will be published in the Employement News and all leading news papers.

The selection procedure includes written test, group test, interview, conference and medical test.

There are different entry schemes in the Air Force,you can either go through the CDS exam or UES exam..

UES exam is basically conducted for the graduate students ,here you will have to sit for an exam and then have to pass through an interview panel and then the medical fitness test..
