i am a x1 student.i wish to join army.what i am do sir.?

Firstly join the NCC group in your college then u get a certificate for it this makes u eligible for joining the army

u will also have to pass your 12th board exam to get entry in army

But at your level the physical phitness also matters a lot for army

ur stamina must be more
height should be more than 157 cms
eye sight must be 6'6

You can apply for the Indian army after the 10+2 through National defence academy examination. This examination is conducted by the UPSC twice in a year. To apply for this examination you need the following eligibility criteria:

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION
For the national defence academy examination a candidate should be 10+2 pass and should have physics and maths at 10+2 if he is applying for the Indian Air force and Navy.
Those appeared in the 10+2 examination are also eligible to apply for this examination.

Eligibility for Indian Army :-

1) 10+2 (Through NDA)

You have to take an entry level exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) to join NDA (National Defence Academy).
Eligibility for UPSC exam :-
a) Sex :- Male.
b) Age Limit :- Between 16 1/2 and 19.

Application Forms are published in leading
newspapers during March /April.

The UPSC (NDA) exam is conducted twice a year (April and October)in all major cities throughout India.

Each year course start twice January and July.

UPSC (NDA) Syllabus is based on CBSE syllabus.

After clearing the written exam you have to go through a five-day interview process with the State Selection Board (SSB) which is the final step .

On completion of the NDA course, you are sent to the respective service academies for your pre- commission training.


2) Engineering Graduates (Direct Entry)

Engineering graduate can join the Indian Military Academy directly.

So, you only need to attend the Service Selection Board (SSB) interview.

Eligibility :-
Age Limit :- Between 20-27 years at the time of joining.

The course starts every year in the month of January and July.
Advertisement of the application form published in March/April & Oct./Nov in employment newspaper.

you can apply for NDA exam after completing class 12th.The minimum eligibility criteria for NDA exam is 10+2 pass out.only 10+2 pass out or graduation students can apply for NDA exam to join in army.

you should have atleast 50% marks in class 10+2.
AGE LIMIT- your age should be between 16n1/2-19years.

To join INdian Army the candidate shoulde be 12th with 60%.

To join army you must give the NDA exam. NDA stands For NAtional Defence Acedmy.

Eligibility Criteria :

The candidate age should be between 17-21 years.

The main way to join in Indian Army is to clear an exam conducted by UPSC named as National Defense Academy exam (NDA).

To be eligible to appear in NDA exam you must have cleared your 12th std in any stream. If you want to join as a navy or air force you must have chosen science as your stream. Your age must be above 16 1/2 and below 19.

Thus you must wait for one year and complete your 12th std to appear in NDA exam and get joined in Indian Army.

You can join Indian Army after 12th by appearing NDA(National Defence Service) exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to three wing of NDA i.e. Indian Army. Navy and Air Force.

Final year 12th exam appearing student from any stream are also be eligible to appear for NDA you should be an unmarried Indian within the age group of 16.5 years to 19 years of age for make an entry in to Indian Army.

Information on NDA - National Defense Academy !!!

NDA is the All India Entrance exam which is organized by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year to select appropriate and eligible bachelors for the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wings.


The Basic Eligibility Criteria's for applying in NDA are :-

• You need to be a minimum 12th pass from a recognized school or college.

• You should have scored a minimum 50% in it, to apply for NDA.

• You should have studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects if you wish to apply for the Indian Air Force, or Navy.

• Your age should be between 16.5 to 19 years as in the year of applying.

• You should be physically fit.

==> So being a candidate of 11th, first of all you need to clear your 11th and then get promoted to 12th.

==> After that you would be required to give your 12th boards and produce as fine a results as you can.

After that you may apply for the NDA.

No, my friend you will not be able to join in Indian Army after passing 11th only....
For that you have to at least complete 12th standard..

After completion of 12th you can appear in NDA exam.
Through NDA exam you can join in Army wing.

Eligibility for Army wing:-
1.Candidate must have complete the 12th in any trade.
2.Candidates age should be in between 16.5-19 years.
3.Candidate must be physically fit.
4.Candidate should be a citizen of India.

These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill.
So, go for 12th first...
