How to join Army as Nursing Staff having completed B.Sc Nursing?
I am Shrinidhi DM , completed my B Sc nursing in September 2011 and i would like to join army as a nursing staff. how ,i can apply for that...???

--you have to give entrance exam for joining nursing staff --indian army soldiers nursing assistant (M.E.R) exam is one of them --this exam is held 4 times in a year --better knowledge you should read advertisement in leading news paper and employment news --Recruitment procedure of indian army nursing exam : >checking of document >physical measurement >physical fitness test >medical examination >written examination >preparation of merit list >enrollment and dispatch of selected candidates in order of merit to centre Eligibility: --you must be indian age:17 1/2 to 23 years education qualification:SSLC/matric(math,english & biology) good luck |

Medical Standards A candidate should have robust physique and good mental health. Chest should be well developed having minimum 5 Cms expansion. Should have normal hearing with each ear and good binocular vision in both eyes. He should be able to read 6/6 in distant vision chart with each eye. Colour vision should be CP-III. Should recognize red and green colours. Should have sufficient number of natural healthy gum and teeth i.e. minimum 14 dental points. Should not have disease like deformity of bones, hydrocele and varicocle or piles. Physical Fitness Tests (PFT) To determine the Physical Fitness, the following tests carrying 100 marks are held:- (a) 1 Mile Run (b) Pull Ups (c) Balance (d) 9 Feet Ditch Marking System is as follows: (a) 1 MILE RUN 5.40 Mins and below 60 Mks 5.41 Mins to 5.50 48 Mks 5.51 Mins to 6 00 36 Mks 6.01 Mins to 6.10 24 Mks (b) PULL UPS 10 and above 40 Mks 9 32 Mks 8 28 Mks 7 21 Mks 6 16 Mks (c) BALANCE & 9 FEET DITCH These are qualifying test and no marks are awarded. Indian Army Nursing Written Exams Entrance Examination (CEE) is conducted on 4th Sunday of Jan, Mar, May, July, September & November, for the recruitment of Soldiers. It comprises of following two papers: Paper- I : It generally comprises of questions on IQ, Numerical ability, General knowledge and current affairs. Duration of papers is 60 minutes. Total Marks 100 Pass Marks 32 Paper-II : It generally comprises of Chemistry, Botany & Biology. Duration - 30 minutes. Marks: 150 Pass marks-16 In addition to paper 1, Sol Nursing Assistant has to qualify in their respective paper. |
