With 10th class you are not eligible for NDA exam.
National Defense Academy (NDA) exam is conducted by upsc twice in a year to intake qualified Candidate for different department in Defense service like Indian Airforce, Indian Navy,Indian Army etc.

Eligibility criteria for NDA-I/NDA-II exam:
Education qualification: Minimum candidate should complete 12th class with PCM stream.
Age Limit: Age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.
Citizenship: Indian

NDA-I and NDA-II exam are conducted twice in year, because the person who was not able to attend for NDA-I exam, he can apply for NDA-II exam in the same year, without having gap between the education.

The upsc takes exam for nda.whose form once come in the month of mid march and 2nd time in the month of mid octuber.u can fill the form if your age is between 16.5 to 19.5 years .than written exam is held generally on last sunday of august in response of form of march and in 3rd sunday of april in response of octuber form.if u will crack the written exam than u will be called for interview called ssb.if u clear that than medical test will happen than than a final merit list will be out..

You want to serve the nation which is really appreciable . As you are in 10th only, so,, you can not apply for the NDA [NATIONAL DEFENSE ACADEMY].

For appear in this UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION [UPSC] EXAMINATION,through which one can apply in all combat branches of the Indian army, you must have at least a 12th degree from a recognized board.
For apply in naval & in air force , you mus have subjects, physics & maths in 12th, with scoring of at least 60%.
The age limit for this examination is 16.5-19, years,.

It seems that you are interested in doing NDA. But sorry, you are not eligible for NDA as it requires a pass in 12th class or any equivalent examination. The National Defence Academy (NDA) is a joint service academy of the Indian armed forces.

NDA is the acronym for the National Defense Academy.


It is basically an All India Entrance Exam which is conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice in a year to select candidates for the various wings of the Indian Defense of Army, Navy and Air Force.


But if anybody wishes to sit for the NDA, then he has to fulfill the following Eligibility Criteria's as :-



1. You should be an Unmarried Male Indian Citizen

2. You should be a minimum 12th pass from a recognized school or state board in India. No minimum percentage is required, but you should be pass in all the respective subjects.

3. Your age should be within 16.5 to 19 years as in the year of applying.

4. If you wish to apply for the Indian Air Force or Navy then you should have studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in your 10+2.

5. Physical fitness is also something which is required. No PD candidates can apply.



So anybody who wishes to apply for the NDA should fulfill these.

But as you ask, that if after 10th Class you can apply or not, I am really sorry you are not yet eligible to do so.

Once you pass class 12th then only you can apply for the NDA exam.

Qualification:

Educational Qualifications are :

(i) For Army wing of National Defence Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equilvalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.

I AM SORRY TO SAY THAT YOU CAN NOT JOIN THE NDA AFTER YOU 10TH CLASS.
as minimum requirement to join the nda is that you must have minimum qualification of +2.
and you must have physics, chemistry and math as your subject.
you can join nda after you +2 only.

If you want to join indian army then you can give the exam for nda and the eligibility for the exam is:

*You have passes 12th from recognized board with PCM .

It is impossible to join Indian Army after completion of 10th because the minimum requirement for NDA is 12th class so you must have completed your 12th class with more than 50% marks under some recognized university or board with in any of the following stream:

1.Arts
2.Commerce
3.Non-Medical
4.Medical



You can join Indian Army even after completion of 12th with arts because arts and commerce students are eligible for Indian Army but not for Indian Navy and Air Force.


Eligibility criteria for NDA:

1.You must be an Indian.
2.Your age should lies between 16.5 to 19 years.
3.Your eye sight should be correct i.e.6/6.
4.You must be physically fit.
5.Girls are not eligible for it.
6.Only unmarried males are eligible for it.



After 10th,nothing is possible so my friend keep calm and go for the 12th class and only then after you become an eligible for NDA.

Paper one contains mathematics 120 question of 300 marks in 3hours.
Paper two consists of 150 GENERAL ABILITY question of 600 marks in another 3 hours.

The selected candidate from the written examination then have to go through the procedure of SSB i.e Service Selection Board hen the candidate qualifies there only he is able to join armed forces.

After the completion of 10th standard you can not join Army through NDA.

NDA entrance exam is conducted by UPSC 2 tomes in a year.

According to UPSC only a 12th standard unmarried male can join in Army wing

through NDA entrance examination.

So it is advisable first you complete your 12th standard from the recognized

board to join in Army.
