Candidates can join the army through NDA, CDS, SSC scheme. The eligibility criteria for each of these varies. Like for NDA the minimum qualification required is 12th standard and the maximum age limit is 19 years. For the CDS scheme graduates can apply. Engineers need not take the exam. Women can apply through the short service commission.

You can apply online thorugh http://www.upsconline.nic.in The filling of application form will be done during and June and November. In the written exam you will have to give English and General Knowledge paper. Each paper will be of 100 marks and time allotted for each paper will be 2 hours. After this you will have to go through an Interview for Intelligence and personality test which will be of 200 marks. If you are an engineering then you can join the army through Short service commission technical women. This selection is also conducted twice in an year. Only unmarried candidates are eligible. For this you must have completed 20 years of age and should not be more than 27 years of age. For this also you will be given 49 weeks training in OTA |

There is no entry scheme for the girls after class 12 exam but you can definitely give the CDS Exam to join army after completing your graduation.
CDS Eligibility Criteria: You can give the CDS exam to enter: >Indian Military Academy >Naval Academy >Air Force The eligibility criteria for every academy is different. For Indian Military Academy/Officers' Training Academy: You should have a bachelor's degree from a recognized university and your age should be between 19-24 years. For naval academy You should have a B.Sc degree in physics or mathematics or a B.Tech degree and your age should be between 19-22 years. For air force academy You should have a B.Sc degree in physics or mathematics or a B.Tech degree and your age should be between 19-23 years. UPSC conducted every year CDS exam FOR ARMY ,NAVY
CANDIDATE MUST HAVE 12th pass INDIAN CITIZEN UNMARRIED PERSON AGE-19years eligible For information -www.upsc.gov.in FOR WOMEN CANDIDATE You should be graduate to apply. Duration of Training. 49 weeks. HERE I ATTACHED A FILE OF QUEATION PAPER |
