Hello sir,
good afternoon i am nitesh panchal from ujjain(M.P.). i am doinge b.e. in mechanical engg. in 3rd year. i want to go in the cbi and use my mind for my country please reply

Dear Aspirant!!!

Yeah sure, your qualification is enough to join CBI as minimum qualification required to join CBI is Graduation.

CBI:- Central Bureau of Investigation

You can join Sub-Inspector(Officer) post in CBI by giving CPGE Exam conducted by SSC once in a year.

CGPE:- Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam

SSC:- Staff Selection Commission


Eligibility Criteria for CBI Exam:

-You should have Qualified in bachelors degree in any strem from a recognized Institute/University.

-Candidates in final year of Graduation are not allowed to appear in the exam.

-Your Age should be between 21 to 27 years (relaxation of upto 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC in upper age limit).

To become CBI officer, you have to apply for Civil service Exam which is conducted by UPSC every year.
After selection, you can apply for IPS cadre, which is allotted according to rank.

Eligibility:
You can apply after completing your engineering /final yr of engg.
Age Limit:
21-30 years.

Preparation:
CSE is a very competitive exam, only 900 students are selected out of 4 lakh candidates.
It will take at least one year for preparation.
But you have enough time before that, you can start initial preparation by:
To clear civil service, you should have strong general awareness, for that read current affairs section of newspaper.
Subscribe to some good magazines also.
Develop your writing skills as you will have to write eassy in the exam.
Improve communication skills.

Yes, you can apply for the post of CBI officer after B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.

CBI-CENTRAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION, to become a CBI officer you have to appear for the CGPE(Combined Graduate Preliminary Examination) conducted by SSC(Staff Selection Commission) once every year.

The candidate having Graduation Degree in any stream of education from a rwecognised University within the age of 2i to 27 years, is eligible to apply for CGPE. The upper age relaxed for reserved candidate as up to 5 years for SC/ST and up to 3 years for OBC candidate.

The selection is through written test followed by Personal Interview and Physical fitness test.

There are certain prescribed Physical standard to be met:-

Height for male candidate should not be less then 165cm an for female candidate it should not be less then 155cm. The weight must be according to the height of the candidate.

Chest for male candidate should not be less then 77cm which will be expandable to 5cm.

There is some relaxation for reserved candidate in Height and Chest standard.

Various methods of recruitment are Direct Recruitment, Deputation, Promotion by Seniority or through Limited Departmental Competitive Examination.

Appointments to all Group - �A� posts are made by the President of India in consultation with the U.P.S.C. Appointments to all Group - �B� posts in the Central Bureau of Investigation, are made by the Director, CBI in consultation with the U.P.S.C., wherever necessary.
Appointments to all Group - �C� posts, except the posts of Senior Clerk Stenos, L.D.Cs, Head Constables and Constables in C.B.I., are made by the Dy. Inspector General of Police.
Appointments in the posts of Senior Clerk Stenos, Lower Division Clerks, Head Constables and constables in Group - �C�
Appointments to all posts in Group - �D� in the CBI, are made by the Superintendent of Police.

Recruitment Rules for most of the posts of CBI have been framed and notified. The rest of the Rules are under the process of revision or pending notification. No relaxation in the provisions of the rules are possible except with the prior approval of the Cabinet Secretariat which is the rule making authority.

Oath of Allegiance : Every person entering government service shall take an oath of allegiance to the Constitution of India either in English or Hindi, before Head of Department/Office or a gazetted officer nominated by him.

Medical Examination : Every candidate for appointment to a post (including appointment on part-time basis) under government is required to produce a medical certificate of fitness from the appropriate medical authority.

Verification of Character and Antecedents : �
(a) ��The appointing authority should satisfy itself that the character and antecedents of the person proposed to be appointed are such that they do not render him/her unsuitable for appointment to government service.

(b) Persons dismissed from service of the Central or a State government including the administration of Union Territories, should be deemed ineligible for appointment.

(c) While normally a person convicted for an offence involving moral turpitude should be regarded as ineligible for government service, in cases where the appointing authority feels that there are redeeming features and reasons to believe that such a person has cured himself of the weakness, he can be considered for appointment after obtaining specific approval of the government.

Sanctioned Strength: 1
Pay Scale: Rs. 26000/- [fixed]
The Director is recruited exclusively by deputation of the officers of Indian Police Services, who have been approved for appointment as Director General of Police under the Government of India respectively. Recommendations for appointments are made by a CBI Selection Board headed by Central Vigilance Commissioner and Home Secretary, Secretary (Co-ordn & PG), Cabinet Secretariat as Members. The views of the incumbent Director are considered by the Board for making the best choice. Final selection to these posts of CBI is made by the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet from the panel recommended by the aforesaid CBI Selection Board.

The Director, CBI shall have a minimum tenure of 2 years regardless of the date of his superannuation.

DEPUTY INSPECTOR GENERAL OF POLICE

Seventy five percent posts of DIG are filled up on deputation of the officers of Indian Police Service empanelled for holding Deputy Inspector General of Police level post at the Centre

HI Dear




AFter complete your graduation degree then you are eligible for CBI test.
For this exam you clear the UPSC exam then you can join in CBI.

This examination form you can buy from Postal and then submit to fill the form appropriate then you send it through postal.

Criminal Investigation Department (CID) or Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is investigation agency of India,

Recruitment of these post is done with written and Oral exams conducted by Staff Selection Commission and even UPSC too..

Candidate opting this field need to be very brave, hardworking, honest as well as tactful as he has to deal with so many high profile people..

This is a job of person with fire in him but that should be controlled by him and should be used as and when required during their raids and investigation judicially.

Eligibility criteria required to be CID/CBI :-
You should have a Bachelor degree of any stream.

Candidate must have attained the age of 20 years on 1st July of the year of examination and must not have attained 27 years of age on that date

Upper age limit relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates

Physical Requirements

Height
For men -165cms.
For women -150cms
Height relax able for Hillsmen and Tribals: 5cms
Chest
76cms. with expansion
Eye-Sight (with or without glasses)
Distant Vision :6/6 in one and 6/9 in other eye.
NearVision:0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye

HI!
After passing B.Tech if you want to join C.B.I then you have to qualify the entrance exam conducted by Staff Selection Commission.

If you want you can also join after passing civil services exam.

Age limit for Civil services exam is 21-30 year.
3 year relaxation for O.B.C and 5 year relaxation for ST/SC candidate.

dear friend,
You want to become a CBI officer after passing BE course in mechanical engineering...

Then you have to appear in SSC conducted combined graduate level exam..
Through the exam you will be able to join in CBI in sub-inspector post..

Eligibility for Combined graduate level exam:------------------------


1.The candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade from a recognized university.
2.Final year candidates are also eligible for the exam.
3.No such percentage of marks is required.
4.For sub-inspector :-- The candidates age should be in between 20-25 years.
5.The candidate needs to be physically fit.
6.The candidate should be a citizen of India.


These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill.
So, get prepare for the exam.
You can get the information about the exam from employment newspaper.

hi dear,
to help your country that is to get yourself a career in CBI you need to fulfill some important criteria
they are
complete your graduation with a minimum passing percent of 60%.
you should not be less than 21 years old or more than 30 years old.
yes the rules for reservation for sc/st and obc candidates do apply

Also you have to appear for a written test then after your technical knowledge would be put on to test. then you will have to pass a medical fitness test following the personal interview.
