Re: How to join IAS after graduation?
Well if you have completed graduation then the only thing left to do is register for the Civil Services Examination. You can only apply for the Indian Administrative Service after clearing the Civil Services Examination.
I am afraid it wont be possible to apply for the Civil Services Examination in 2013. The registration process is over and already preliminary exam has also be concluded. Now you should wait till the next year. It would only be in 2014 when the registration process will start again. Till that time you should keep the focus on preparing for the exam. You need at least 8 months to fully prepare for the Civil Services Examination. Now if you haven't already started the preparation please do so as soon as possible. You can begin with studying 12th standard books especially by NCERT. IAS Eligibility 1. You should be Indian citizen. 2. Must have a graduation degree to apply. 3. Passing marks in graduation would be sufficient enough to apply. 4. There are no physical requirements for IAS. 5. You should be in the age group of 21 to 30 years. 6. There is 3 years relaxation for OBC. 7. Up to 5 years relaxation for SC/ST. Selection Procedure for Indian Administrative Service 1. Preliminary Exam 2. Main Exam 3. Personal Interview |
